On one hand, the Seahawks needed two-plus quarters to muster up a touchdown on the road against the lowly Giants, pointing to the offensive question marks Seattle has seemingly had all season.

Yet on the other, the Seahawks defense remains as potent as its ever been. Going up a receiver-less New York squad certainly aided Seattle’s efforts here.

The 24-7 road win over the Giants did feature some solid work by quarterback Russell Wilson in the second half. Despite not having a running game in support, Wilson was nevertheless spectacular, tossing three touchdowns against zero interceptions during the game.

Meanwhile, that defense ensured the Giants couldn’t gain anymore than 177 total yards, holding the New York offense to just a 2-of-12 mark on third downs.

The Seahawks pick up two spots in our NFL power rankings this week, and that could change for even more if they’re able to handle the visiting Texans in Week 8.
