One would think, coming off a bye, the Falcons would have been well prepared for a home contest against an inconsistent Jay Cutler and the visiting Dolphins in Week 6.

Not so much.

At the beginning, it seemed as if the Falcons were off to a comfortable start, putting up 17 unanswered points before halftime. But that’s where things stalled, and quarterback Matt Ryan finished with only a so-so effort against a Dolphins team that answered back with 20 unanswered points of their own in quarters three and four.

It’s not a good look for the now-3-2 Falcons, who suddenly can’t feel so good about their hold on the NFC South.
