Yes, the Buccaneers have a sub-.500 record after losing on the road in Arizona and still manage to stay in the top half of our NFL power rankings.

With quarterback Jameis Winston (shoulder) coming out early, the Bucs deserve a bit of a break, even though backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was pretty good against the Cardinals.

Winston’s status for Week 7 is unknown, but it’s at least a good sign X-rays came back negative, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The problem with the Buccaneers this season, though, is we’ve yet to see the true explosiveness on offense so many predicted when the team landed wide receiver DeSean Jackson and tight end O.J. Howard last offseason.

Tampa Bay is still good, just not great. Will we see it at all this season, or is this squad underachieving on a big level?
