Green Bay Packers. 18. team. 49. . 4-2.

Bad news. Bad news.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ potentially season-ending injury spells nothing but disaster for the Packers, who fell 23-10 to their division rivals, the Vikings.

We told you the Packers would tumble in our NFL power rankings this week, and here it is.

If Green Bay had a stout-like defense or a better-than-average running game, Rodgers’ loss wouldn’t be quite as bad. Problem is, Rodgers is the Packers and is so critical to every aspect of their success.

Any non-Green Bay fans want to name the Packers’ backup quarterbacks? Anyone?

This is about as bad a situation for head coach Mike McCarthy as possible, and this upcoming week will leave his team scrambling for answers.

The last we heard, there’s a once-star quarterback, who made a habit of dominating Green Bay in the playoffs, out there on the open market. And he grew up a Packers fan too.
