Start-em: Christian McCaffrey (CAR) @ Detroit

Christian McCaffrey has been forgotten by fantasy football players because of all the great rookie running backs contributing this season. He should not be overlooked when setting your lineup this weekend. He has a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions and still is one of the most talent players on the field every game.

McCaffrey has one of the highest floors, in terms of points in fantasy football. Because of his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, he is guaranteed nearly 10 points a game. That is without factoring in any possible big plays he may create throughout the game or any touchdowns.

He has yet to find the end zone through the first four weeks, but this week sets up perfectly for him. The Detroit linebackers and safeties are not quick enough to cover him. McCaffrey has been steadily catching passes and running well, but that big play has yet to come. With the Panthers offense looking back on track in Week 5, this is the week McCaffrey breaks one.

Running back is becoming a very tough position to find consistency this season. Dalvin Cook’s injury and the bye week starters being lost, McCaffrey is a way to get solid production at running back in Week 5.

Other options: Andre Ellington (ARI) @ Philadelphia and Ezekiel Elliot (DAL) vs. Green Bay
