31. . 0-4. . New York Giants. 25. team

Yes, the New York Giants manage to climb a spot in our NFL power rankings this week despite falling to 0-4.

To be fair, the Giants have lost back-to-back games by their opponents, this time to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who came away with the last-second 25-23 Week 4 win.

It didn’t help New York fell behind 13-0 in the first quarter, which certainly raises questions how this expensive defense is able to continue moving forward. At least quarterback Eli Manning and Co. were able to get the Giants offense back on track to make a game of things.

New York’s embattled offensive line managed to protect Manning well enough, not allowing a single sack. But the Giants defense had no answers for Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston, who tossed three touchdowns against zero interceptions.

It’s weird to think the Giants are the worse of the two New York teams right now.
