Any feel-good sentiments fans had about the Chicago Bears after their Week 3 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers evaporated less than a week later.

The Bears dropped an ugly, forgettable Thursday Night Football contest to the Green Bay Packers, falling 35-14, in a game where quarterback Mike Glennon tossed just one touchdown against two interceptions en route to a 67.5 passer rating.

Glennon’s 76.9 season passer rating now sits above quarterbacks Brian Hoyer, Joe Flacco and DeShone Kizer — not exactly the most elite of company.

So it’s no wonder head coach John Fox has elected to turn things over from Glennon to rookie quarterback, and the No. 2 overall pick from the NFL Draft, Mitchell Trubisky, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Fox doesn’t exactly have a choice. Glennon has been terrible, and Trubisky is the future. Does it make much of a difference?

Against the tough Vikings defense in Week 5, we’ll see.
