2-2. . Tennessee Titans. 17. team. 35.

Ouch! Talk about a serious fall in our NFL power rankings this week.

Well, that’s what happens when the Tennessee Titans give up 57 points to the Houston Texans in Week 4 — a day defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau would probably like to forget.

Pick a category, and it probably doesn’t look pretty for Tennessee. Rushing yards allowed — 173. First downs allowed — 33. Total yards given up — 445. Lost turnovers — five. The time-of-possession battle — 39:41 to 20:19 in favor of Houston.

Yeah, losses like these certainly justify a massive drop. Hopefully for Titans fans, it’s little more than an anomaly and not an indication of what’s to come.

Adding injury to insult, or whichever it is, quarterback Marcus Mariota suffered a hamstring injury during the game.

The good news, though, is NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported the quarterback is listed as day to day.

Even better, Tennessee’s defensive splits this season should bounce back nicely against a struggling Dolphins offense in Week 5.
