Wide Receiver Trent Taylor

Rookie wideout Trent Taylor is quickly becoming one of the few Niners offensive players worth watching on game day.

While Taylor’s five-catch, 47-yard performance isn’t exactly jumping off the charts, the nature of his catches and overall impact is something to get excited about this season and, hopefully, in coming years.

On this first-down pickup, Taylor managed to push back Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu, eventually getting suplexed to the ground at the play’s conclusion:

The two had been jawing at each other for much of the game, so it was good to see Taylor get the best of this particular situation.

At any rate, Taylor is one of the more consistent weapons the 49ers have, and it would be wise to incorporate him into the offense as much as possible moving forward.
