Josh Doctson (WAS)

This former first-round pick of the Washington Redskins finally made some noise in Week 3. The Redskins drafted Doctson to be their future No. 1 wide receiver. Unfortunately, things haven’t went according to plan to begin his career.

  • Doctson made a spectacular play in Washington’s Week 3 win over the Oakland Raiders. He showed Redskins fans and fantasy owners why he was a high draft pick in 2016. His touchdown catch has turned me back into a believer once more. He seems100 percent healthy for the first time and could be a steal on the waiver-wire right now.

Doctson is owned in 34.2 percent of ESPN leagues and with his potential talent it really should be closer to 80 percent. Players like Zay Jones (BUF) and Corey Davis (TEN) are around 80-percent owned and have proven just as much, maybe even less than Doctson has this season.

Fellow wide receiver and Redskins teammate Terrelle Pryor has yet to step up into a big role in the Washington offense. Doctson could easily impress enough in the next few weeks and become a real playmaker for Washington and fantasy owners.

The Redskins are another team that loves to throw the ball. Adding any receiver from their roster is never a bad move in fanatsy football. Plus, with Doctson’s big play talent, he could become a regular in both the Washington starting lineup and fantasy football starting lineups in weeks to come.
