Week 4 of the 2017 NFL season has arrived and fantasy football players are on the lookout for waiver adds to help their teams. With bye weeks starting next week, fantasy football benches are going to be key in your team’s success moving forward. Here are a few names to consider.

Every week there are one or two breakout players that become must add on the waiver wire.

This list attempts to predict those breakout players before their big games happen.

That way you don’t have to scramble and hope for the waiver order to fall in your favor Monday morning.

It’s the best feeling knowing you were right about an unknown players potential to play big. This week is full of possibilities, but we have narrowed it down to a few players who are under 40 percent owned in ESPN fantasy football leagues that we see as potential big time contributors in weeks to come.

Before getting into the Week 4 list, let’s see how players on previous week’s lists are performing now.

Waiver-wire Hits: Kendall Wright (CHI) Week 2 list, Chris Carson (SEA), Jermaine Kearse (NYJ), and Jared Goff (LAR).

Waiver-wire Misses: Samaje Perine (WAS) and Rashad Higgins (CLE).

Kendall Wright was on this list in Week 1 and Week 2. He finally delivered on Thursday night with four catches and a touchdown for 15 fantasy points. Carson is now the starting running back on a Seattle offense that is bound to improve as the season progresses. And Goff is playing like the top selection the Rams hoped he could be last season.

However, Samaje Perine did nothing with his extra opportunities last week. And Rashad Higgins was a non factor in the Cleveland offense in Week 3. Now on to Week 4 and more players like Kendall Wright and Chris Carson.

Robby Anderson (NYJ)

The New York Jets are a team that is going to be throwing a ton this season. They are very thin at the wide receiver position. So, Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson can both be decent fantasy football contributors throughout the season.

Neither one is a consistent starter on a good fantasy roster. However, the bye weeks are coming and you can do a lot worse than Anderson and Kearse on your bench,

Anderson is a very, very poor version of Tampa Bay wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Anderson ran a 4.34 40-yard dash time at the combine and is capable of scoring on any given play. He proved that in Week 3 with his 69 yard touchdown catch against the Miami Dolphins.

This obviously isn’t going to happen every week, but with his speed and the targets he is getting in the Jets offense it is going to happen quite a few times this season. Just one catch like that and you are a happy fantasy football owner of Robby Anderson.

Anderson is only owned in 2.6 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. Players like Torrey Smith (PHI) and Taylor Gabriel (ATL) have the same skill set and are much higher owned than Anderson. Add Robby Anderson and hope his big play ability becomes a weekly occurrence to fill out your fantasy football roster.
