Chris Carson (SEA)

Eddie Lacy, Thomas Rawls, and C.J. Prosise all got their shot to be the top running back in Seattle before Chris Carson. However, Carson got his chance in Week 2 and did not look back. He is the back to own in fantasy football in Seattle.

Seattle’s seventh-round pick in this years draft, Carson impressed in Week 2 running strong behind a poor offensive line and against the tough San Francisco 49ers defense. He was able to put up better numbers than any of the other backs on the team with his 20 carries for 93 yards on Sunday.

The rushing yards aren’t going to come easy to the rookie behind a poor offensive line. He made it work in Week 2, so let’e hope for more of the same in Week 3. Quarterback Russell Wilson needs all the help he can get right now in Seattle and Carson seems to be the answer.

Even following a good game of nearly 100 yards, Carson is still owned in only 37.7 percent of ESPN leagues. Starting running backs are going to become harder to find on the waiver wire. Add Carson while you still can.

With some semblance of a running game, Wilson has proven he can win in the NFL. Seattle has always wanted and needed to run the ball in order to be successful. That means Carson is going to get chances to succeed in Seattle.
