Nelson Agholor (PHI)

The last player on the Week 2 waiver-wire adds list is the first one on it not due to teammate injury. I was beginning to feel a little morbid talking about all those injuries.

Nelson Agholor is the No. 2 wide receiver opposite Alshon Jeffery in Philadelphia.

Agholor entered training camp as the third receiver. The organization liked the strides he made in the offseason and traded receiver Jordan Matthews to the Buffalo Bills. The extra targets paid off in Week 1 when Agholor had 6 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Agholor is owned in 23.8 percent owned in ESPN leagues still after a solid first game. Jeffery is going to see a good majority of the attention from opposing defenses. This leaves Agholor room to operate, leading to more games like his Week 1 performance.

The Eagles and quarterback Carson Wentz are going to throw the ball a lot this year. Their running game is suspect at best, and that means they are going to have to score points through the air.

Fantasy football points come when teams air it out, and that’s exactly the Eagles game plan this season. Jeffery is going to be a good option, but good, winning teams need to have a solid No. 2 target. Agholor is that guy in Philly.

Good luck this week, and don’t forget to add your favorite of these five under-owned players to your team before the start of Week 2.
