Offensive Line

Center: Daniel Kilgore

Left Tackle: Joe Staley

Left Guard: Brandon Fusco

Right Tackle: Trent Brown

Right Guard: Laken Tomlinson

Reserves: Garry Gilliam, John Theus, Zane Beadles, Erik Magnuson

San Francisco’s offensive line is another question mark heading into this season. On one hand, we didn’t see too much of veteran linemen Joe Staley and Daniel Kilgore. They’ve all but secured their starting jobs.

The same goes with right tackle Trent Brown, although it’s safe to still question his scheme fit.

Instead, the guard positions should be concerning.

Second-year guard Joshua Garnett (knee) will land on season-ending injured reserve, per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.

This certainly explains the move to acquire former first-round pick Laken Tomlinson from the Detroit Lions earlier this week. Tomlinson could easily be a plug-and-play starter, moving Zane Beadles to an ultimate backup role.

On a good note, it’s nice to see rookie UDFA lineman Erik Magnuson make the 53-man roster.
