Ranking each NFC West starting quarterback in 2017

Niner Noise breaks down the quarterback situation for each NFC West team entering 2017 and lists them all in an NFL power-ranking order.

The NFC West no longer boasts two of the up-and-coming quarterbacks, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson, and the division as a whole isn’t quite the dominant force it once was.

Yet three teams still boast savvy veterans under center.

These four total quarterbacks, Brian Hoyer of the San Francisco 49ers, Carson Palmer of the Arizona Cardinals, Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams and Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks, will look to get their respective teams into the best situation possible entering 2017.

But who has the edge?

In this slideshow, we’ll examine each of the NFC West starting QBs ahead of the season. We’ll also rank them in reverse order, specifying why each is slotted at his listed spot.
