Fantasy football: 5 winning strategies to command your league

No. 5: Don’t Overthink the First Two Rounds
You’re going to get a very good fantasy football player in Round 1 and a pretty darned good one in Round 2.
There are going to be some point differences between running back Le’Veon Bell — most rankings have him as the consensus No. 1 overall pick — and, let’s say, running back DeMarco Murray towards the tail end of the round.
Fear not, though. You’re going to get two cornerstone pieces.
You see, the first two rounds of any fantasy football draft are intended for your cornerstones — home-run hitters you can rely upon all season long to help carry your team.
Don’t overthink these two rounds. Come up with a top-25 big board and simply jump on the top player available when your name is called.
Spend your study time focusing on the mid-to-late rounds where all your fantasy cash is to be made.
