While the majority of buzz surrounding the San Francisco 49ers has been good entering 2017, Niner Noise looks at five potentially major problems the team will face this year.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan have worked wonders transforming a laughable 2-14 Niners squad into one commanding some respect in advance of the 2017 season.

Yet one offseason is nowhere close to being enough to solve all of San Francisco’s woes.

While the majority of sentiments surrounding the red and gold has been good this offseason, the fact remains the 49ers face more issues and problems than they’ll be able to handle in just one season.

Yes, the Niners are vastly improved from last year already. But it’s worth pointing out what the biggest concerns San Francisco has on its plate heading into 2017.

In this slideshow, and without being a downer or buzzkill, we’ll look at five specific issues the 49ers will have to deal with.

And we’ll kick things off with Shanahan’s offense.
