No. 6: Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffery

Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery jettisoned the mess with the Chicago Bears and now finds himself in an up-and-coming offense with the Philadelphia Eagles.

So all signs point to Jeffery having a huge year, right?

Not so fast. Like Dak Prescott, quarterback Carson Wentz could be in line for some setbacks this season. While the Eagles made efforts to give him weapons — Jeffery and WR Torrey Smith — Philadelphia’s offense still doesn’t quite make it anywhere close to the prolific standings.

There are durability issues for Jeffery as well. Injuries and a four-game suspension in 2016 limited Jeffery to 21 games the last two seasons.

More importantly, Jeffery has come nowhere close to replicating his stellar 1,133-yard performance back in 2014 — the year that pushed Jeffery atop the fantasy football discussion not long ago.

Jeffery’s ADP ranking, per Fantasy Pros, is at 16.7. A pick anywhere before Round 5 is simply too high for a player with so many questions.

Sleep on some other receivers — Doug Baldwin or Marquise Goodwin — instead of reaching for a player like Jeffery.
