No. 9: Running Back Marshawn Lynch

Running back Marshawn Lynch’s return from retirement, joining his hometown Oakland Raiders team, is going to get at least a few players in your fantasy league excited.

Let them reach for Lynch Don’t do it yourself.

Plenty of average-draft positions have Lynch going as high as Round 2, which is way too high. As a No. 2 option later in the draft, Lynch could be fine. But that’s it.

Keep this in mind — Lynch hasn’t played a game since early in 2015 before abdominal injuries cut his season short with the Seattle Seahawks.

True, Lynch should benefit from being within a high-powered Raiders offense this season, and their offensive line remains a solid force.

But you can get better options earlier in the draft. If Lynch winds up falling into your lap around Round 5 or 6, that might be a better option.
