49ers training camp: Predicting 2017 depth chart at wide receiver

No. 1: Pierre Garcon

This is pretty clear — Pierre Garcon will be the team’s No. 1 receiver this season.

Garcon, who turns 31 years old this month, is coming off yet another 1,000-yard season and has the experience working under head coach Kyle Shanahan.

That helps, as does his growing rapport with quarterback Brian Hoyer:

It’s not likely Garcon repeats another 1,000 yards through the air this season, although he should benefit from having the No. 2 guy on this list stretch the field.
