San Francisco 49ers: Top position battles to watch in Week 2 of training camp

The San Francisco 49ers start their second week of training camp practice this upcoming Wednesday, and Niner Noise breaks down the top position battles to watch based off what we know from the first week.

The San Francisco 49ers concluded their first week of training camp practices on Monday — the last two days featuring full pads and contact.

We’ve already seen a number of standouts, including wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and cornerback Rashard Robinson.

But competition is certainly going to heat up between now and the preseason, which officially starts on Friday, August 11.

San Francisco’s next practice begins on Wednesday, August 2 at 1 p.m. ET.
