Kansas City Chiefs vs. Charlestown Chiefs

Not every NFL team out there gives us the luxury of finding the perfect inner-league matchup, and the Kansas City Chiefs are a perfect example.

Plus, the namesake comparison with the fictional Charlestown Chiefs hockey team — taken from the famous 1977 movie, Slap Shot — is simply too good to pass up.

Yes, the Kansas City version of this mascot has one of the most storied histories in the NFL.

But the late Paul Newman’s squad might have a bit of an advantage here if this showdown takes place on the ice.

Oh, and Charlestown boasts the Hanson brothers. It doesn’t get much better than that.
