O-Line Players Currently on the 49ers Roster

The 2017 NFL Draft didn’t offer a lot by the way of upgrades for San Francisco’s offensive line, forcing general manager John Lynch to look elsewhere.

One of the first moves was to bring in 2016 Pro Bowl center Jeremy Zuttah, via a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. Zuttah has familiarity with an outside-zone scheme, which Kyle Shanahan will operate this season.

The transaction could push San Francisco’s incumbent, Daniel Kilgore, out of the starting center job. And this is just one of a handful of competitions taking place along the line.

Lynch brought in a number of undrafted free agents after the draft, although the vast majority of these figure to be practice squad candidates at best.
