. Los Angeles Rams. 31. team. 51. . Jared Goff

I really wanted to put Los Angeles Rams quarterback dead last on this NFL power rankings list, but Goff gets a slight boost for a couple of reasons.

First, he has Sean McVay at head coach now. Goff doesn’t have to worry too much about being under the watch of former head coach Jeff Fisher, who reportedly didn’t want the Rams to mortgage their future by moving up to No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft to select Goff.

McVay worked some wonders with the Washington Redskins offense in recent years, so that’s a small bonus.

And the Rams also stocked up on some receiving weapons to help Goff and an anemic L.A. offense improve somewhat this season.

Still, Goff has a long way to go to prove Los Angeles was wise to take such a gamble.
