Right out of the gate, defensive tackle and first-round draft pick Dana Stubblefield made an immediate impact winning Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in 1993. Stubblefield posted 10.5 sacks and 64 tackles in his debut season and was also named to the All-Rookie team.

He followed up his successful rookie season with consecutive selections to the Pro Bowl in 1994 and 1995. His best season came in 1997, when he recorded 15.0 sacks and 48 tackles and was named Defensive Player of the Year, as well as making first-team All-Pro.

With his 46.5 sacks, Stubblefield sits at No. 4 on the 49ers’ sack leaderboards, and is No. 21 in tackles with 253.

Paired with another member of the list, Stubblefield was a force on the defensive line throughout the mid 1990s.
