Niner Noise takes a look around the NFL and determines which teams are going to be in need of a quarterback during the 2018 offseason.

The San Francisco 49ers are just one of many teams likely in the market for a quarterback in 2018.

49ers general manager John Lynch brought in free agents Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley, and the team also drafted former Iowa QB C.J. Beathard in the NFL Draft.

But, like many other teams around the league, this scenario is far from perfect.

In all likelihood, the Niners are just one of a few teams probably on the hunt for a quarterback just less than a year from now when the upcoming season is over.

As such, Niner Noise takes a look around the league and determines the teams most likely on the hunt for a starting-caliber quarterback in 2018. Whether it be via free agency or the NFL Draft, each one of these franchises has a pressing need under center.

Unlike the last draft, 2018 is going to provide more than a few likable options at the position. There also may be some serious choices available on the free-agent market as well.

It’s also worth pointing out the late Bill Walsh felt teams should draft a quarterback every year, since the position was of such high importance.

Whether or not these teams listed elect to pursue this route, look for these following franchises to be eyeing a QB at some point in 2018.

Let’s start off with our own 49ers.
