Cleveland Browns — EDGE Myles Garrett

For once, the Cleveland Browns didn’t screw things up in the NFL Draft. In all honesty, the Browns had a pretty good draft class in 2017.

Capped off by the No. 1 overall selection of former Texas A&M EDGE Myles Garrett.

This was the no-brainer pick to make. Anything else would have been silly.

Garrett is immediately a cornerstone piece for a Browns team needing help at nearly every position. He’s an instant upgrade for an abysmal pass rush and the kind of player teams need to game plan against.

It’s been a while since Cleveland has had a player of such potential.

There are other players to watch here for head coach Hue Jackson. Quarterback DeShone Kizer, taken in Round 1 at No. 29 overall, will likely be pressed into service at some point this year.

But Garrett is the No. 1 guy to watch. Nothing else would make sense.
