Indianapolis Colts — Quarterback Andrew Luck

The Indianapolis Colts have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and yet they’ve done a poor, poor job in ensuring he’s protected adequately enough.

Luck was sacked a whopping 41 times last season — tied for second among all quarterbacks — and has missed a combined 10 games over the last two years.

On the positive side of things, the Colts used their first three picks in the NFL Draft to address a porous and aging defense, which should help keep this unit on the field and ensure Luck gets more chances to impact the game.

Protecting him will still be an issue though, so the pressure will be on Luck to ensure he’s able to stay healthy and remain the focal point of everything Indianapolis tries to do this upcoming season.
