5 trade candidates the 49ers may move before the regular season

No. 4: Defensive Tackle Quinton Dial
Veteran defensive tackle Quinton Dial has been one of the unsung heroes of an otherwise lackluster 49ers defensive line the last few seasons.
Dial has the versatility to play any one of the defensive-front positions, which increases his value and makes him a likable commodity. But with the Niners investing three consecutive first-overall NFL Draft picks the last three seasons, room for the 26 year old will be tight.
And with 2017 additions Earl Mitchell and D.J. Jones, Dial’s chances to land the nose tackle spot are slim as well.
The 6-foot-5, 318 pounder is signed through 2019, and San Francisco would have to eat a fairly hefty chunk of his salary to cut him. So this makes the notion of a trade seem much more plausible.
As 49ers Webzone’s Al Sacco pointed out, Dial is earning a considerable amount of money for a backup:
So where would the Niners be able to move him?
One possible landing spot, as suggested by FanSided’s Brad Weiss, is the Denver Broncos. The Broncos would add some valuable and experienced depth along their defensive line, and Dial would assume a much larger role.
And the 49ers already have trade chemistry with Denver this offseason, landing running back Kapri Bibbs in a draft-day move.
