Round 6, Pick No. 202 Overall

Pita Taumoepenu, OLB/DE Utah — D+

Pita Taumoepenu is a very raw prospect, who could develop into a pass-rush specialist off the edge. He only started one year at Utah and needs more time to develop his game.

He struggled in coverage for the Utes and has trouble making tackles in open space, which is a cause for concern.

The 49ers are thin at this position and could have used an earlier pick on it. But Taumoepenu has decent upside in getting to the quarterback.

Lets hope he develops sooner rather than later.
