Key NFL Draft Additions: TE Evan Engram, DT Dalvin Tomlinson, QB Davis Webb, RB Wayne Gallman

The New York Giants manage to fall two spots in our NFL power rankings due to a couple of questionable moves, one of them right in Round 1.

Tight end Evan Engram should be a nice player and will be a solid weapon for quarterback Eli Manning. That’s fine, but the Giants had other needs. Most notably along the offensive line, and the Giants didn’t do much of anything to address the need, especially at tackle.

Another questionable move was Cal quarterback Davis Webb. It’s still hard to buy into the hype around Webb, even if he’ll have some time to develop behind Manning.

Defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson was a nice find, and he should be a seamless fit along the line.

And running back Wayne Gallman should be a nice offensive piece on the ground.

Still, protecting Manning will be a problem for New York this upcoming season.
