Offensive Line

While it would’ve been more definitive to specifically state that the 49ers could use a guard, center or tackle. This line could use help along all three positions.

Last year, Joshua Garnett did little to impress. While Trent Brown, though he is an intriguing prospect, has a hard time staying on his feet when swatting away defenders. By not considering any in the first two days, it’s safe to say that the 49ers were less than impressed with the offensive linemen in the draft.

They addressed the center position in free agency with the addition of Jeremy Zuttah. They also strengthened the tackle position with the signing of Garry Gilliam.

However, moving forward there could still be some day three prospects that they feel are worth a look. Guard Isaac Asiata could push for playing time if added to an inexperienced depth chart.

At the very least there is a chance to add depth to this unit.
