Day one and two are in the books and the 49ers have filled many areas of need. Now as we venture into the last day of the 2017 NFL Draft, Niner noise takes a look at what could be next for John Lynch and company.

John Lynch entered his first NFL draft as the rookie on the clock, by the end of his first pick he looked more like a seasoned veteran without a care in the world.

He’s gambled, dealt for picks and in the end still walked away with two of the top three guys on his big board.

The franchise is well on its way to fixing some of the biggest issues from only one season ago. Although fixing this team will take more than just one draft, there is reason to thin that the franchise is more than back on track.

The pass rush figures to be more dominant with the addition of Solomon Thomas, while that horrible run defense looks anything but meager with the addition of Reuben Foster.

Lynch picked up a cover corner with size and athleticism who led all defensive backs in the draft with 13 passes defensed. That’s more than impressive when you factor in just how deep this class is.

The team also addressed the quarterback position with the selection of a developmental passer in C.J. Beathard.

Now that we’ve examined who has been selected, let’s examine some positions that could be addressed on Day 3.
