John Ross. 18. player. 35. . Wide Receiver. Washington

The Titans took care of the secondary with their first pick in the NFL Draft. Now they address another pressing need — wide receiver.

Not long ago, Washington wideout John Ross was considered the top of his class, even above Clemson’s Mike Williams. Despite Ross’ record-setting 4.22 40-yard time, his draft stock has managed to fall a little bit.

And that’s great news for a receiver-needy Tennessee offense.

What the Titans need is a true No. 1 wide receiver and someone to help make quarterback Marcus Mariota look like the next elite signal-caller.

Ross can provide that and give Tennessee the offensive boost it so desperately covets.
