Round 4, Pick No. 126 Overall — Chidobe Awuzie, Colorado

The 49ers have already expressed interest in Colorado cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, per David Fucillo of Niners Nation, and has a scheduled a visit.

Awuzie isn’t refined in his technique, but his strengths lie in his pursuit on the ball and being active with his hands. As a senior he accumulated 12 pass breakups and 65 tackles.

This is a good spot for the Niners to add depth, and Awuzie is another prospect who can surprise scouts down the line.

He had a good performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, posting an 11-foot broad jump, good enough for second overall at his position.
