With the NFL Draft approaching quickly, the San Francisco 49ers will need to hit home runs with their first two picks to turn this team around. Inspired by NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks, here’s the 49ers’ Perfect Pair for Rounds 1 and 2.

NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah have been taking a look at their perfect pair for every team, sharing who they think should be drafted in Rounds 1 and 2.

So why not take a look?

Rob Lowder of Niners Wire shared a clip of Brooks and Jeremiah discussing who they would love to see the 49ers take in Rounds 1 and 2.

Round 1: No. 2 Overall

With the No. 2 overall pick, Brooks chose LSU safety Jamal Adams, citing his leadership as a major reason for this choice.

Brooks goes on to add that the 49ers need a change in culture, and Adams is the guy that can lead a pack and locker room. Aside from that, Adams possesses the ability to make plays in the box or be a rangy safety on the outside.

Round 2: No. 34 Overall

Then, with the No. 34 overall pick in the second round, Brooks chose running back Alvin Kamara, claiming that his burst and playmaking will be vital for a poor offense.

He also adds head coach Kyle Shanahan needs an offensive weapon, and nobody fits the bill better than the Tennessee standout.

These selections are representative of the names that have been commonly tied to San Francisco during the mock draft season. With the No. 2 overall pick, some other names that show up are safety Malik Hooker or defensive end Solomon Thomas.

Surprisingly, Kamara wasn’t a guy who came up often in relation to the Niners. But he’s a weapon and definitely will be available when the 49ers draft a player at No. 34.

Now, let’s take a look at my perfect pair for the team in the 2017 NFL Draft.
