No. 3: Quarterback Sam Bradford

2017 Team: Minnesota Vikings

The only reason I put this on here is for Niner Noise’s own Richard Madrid. Just ask him about Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford.

In all seriousness, Bradford wouldn’t be the worst of choices the 49ers could target a year from now.

While we don’t know what the situation is with fellow Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, as he recovers from his unfortunate knee injury, let’s imagine the scenario when Bridgewater returns. Bradford is an excessive, expensive commodity to re-sign.

Sure, Bradford has his own health concerns. But he’s managed to stay relatively healthy the last two seasons, and that 71.6 completion percentage last year sure looks enticing.

There’s another QB on this list most 49ers fans will understand San Francisco targeting. But Bradford is a good No. 2 target and a solid option to have in place while the Niners groom their next franchise guy.
