Breaking Down the Film

Kareem Hunt is more than just a north-south ball-carrier capable of being little more than a nice backup at the NFL level.

And we can gauge this from watching the film.

In the DraftBreakdown.com video below, it’s possible to see the shiftiness and vision, which allows Hunt to attack openings and elude tackles in open space:

Also on display is Hunt’s abilities to work within the passing game, shedding would-be tacklers in the process.

Hunt may not be able to shed tacklers so easily at the next level. And his speed certainly won’t shock anyone at the NFL level either.

But the ability to work within a zone scheme should work well if San Francisco takes a shot on him.
