Oakland Raiders

Projected Cap Space: $42,931,487

Biggest Need: Cornerback

The Oakland Raiders don’t have to worry too much about their offense entering this offseason. It’s the defense drawing the majority of the focus.

Adding some front-seven players to complement pass-rushers like Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin would help. But the secondary has been a much more problematic area for the silver and black for the past few seasons.

More from Niner Noise

Bringing in cornerback Sean Smith a year ago didn’t exactly generate franchise-changing results. And fellow corner D.J. Hayden could walk via free agency.

Perhaps general manager Reggie McKenzie targets a player like A.J. Bouye, hoping he’s the perfect fit in what looks like Raiders team that’s going to be good for a while.
