With DE Myles Garrett likely going to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 1 pick, the San Francisco 49ers have a variety of players to choose from. LSU Safety Jamal Adams should be at the top of the 49ers’ list.

With the NFL Draft coming up, questions are swirling around regarding who the San Francisco 49ers will select with the No. 2 overall pick.

Eric Gamboa made his case for choosing linebacker Reuben Foster from Alabama, even though he’s facing shoulder injuries.

Nicholas McGee argued Ohio State’s cornerback Marshon Lattimore is the perfect selection for the 49ers.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller mocked quarterback Mitch Trubisky to the 49ers in the first round.

One name that has not come up yet, but certainly should be in the mix is LSU safety Jamal Adams. A versatile, rangy, hard-hitting defender, Adams has emerged as the best safety in the 2017 draft. With the potential the LSU safety possesses, he’s 100 percent worth the No. 2 overall pick.
