Boy, the Los Angeles Rams would sure like to forget what happened at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons, wouldn’t they?
A 42-14 defeat would make any player cringe. The Rams got almost nothing going, offensively, and rookie quarterback Jared Goff tossed two interceptions en route to a 54.4 passer rating.
But the usually stout Rams defense failed to show up either.
Now-fired head coach Jeff Fisher would likely take one of those 7-9 or 8-8 seasons he promised to avoid last offseason.
