. Detroit Lions. 6. team. 50. . 8-4

The Lions 28-13 victory in New Orleans over the Saints certainly goes a long way in locking up the NFC North.

What separates Detroit from the Broncos is the vastly superior quarterbacking play from Matthew Stafford, who was brilliant at the Mercedes Benz Superdome. Stafford threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns to accumulate a 111.3 passer rating on the day.

Wide receiver Golden Tate hauled in 145 of those passing yards, and the Lions offense is clicking very well right now.

Detroit’s defense also held Saints QB Drew Brees in check almost all game, forcing three interceptions in the process.
