The Bengals aren’t likely to make the playoffs in 2016, but they sure saved some face by knocking off the scuffling Eagles in Week 14.

Cincinnati’s 32-14 victory over Philadelphia looked vintage Bengals. Quarterback Andy Dalton was on point, going 23-of-31 for 332 yards and two touchdowns. And wide receiver Brandon LaFell was a good part of the offensive equation, especially since the Bengals ground game wasn’t going.

The pass defense was also effective, even if the pass rush wasn’t entirely stellar. Cincinnati’s defense managed to knock down 15 passes from Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.

Will these kinds of efforts be enough for head coach Marvin Lewis to keep his job this offseason?
