Quarterback play will not get any better

The four quarterbacks who played in Friday’s matchup combined to throw for 9-of-20, 61 yards and zero touchdowns.

Kaepernick’s much anticipated return saw him complete two passes and run a few times, which ultimately led to no scores and he was then pulled from the game.

It just seems that after three preseason games, no quarterback has a firm grasp on the offense. They have all looked lost at times and don’t show any signs of leading the team.

They have not shown any signs of progression within the offense. And it doesn’t seem like it’s going to get any better than this.

If Friday is any indication of what we will see throughout the regular season, then the 49ers are going to be in for a rough year.
