Safeties

  1. Eric Reid
  2. Antoine Bethea

Safety Eric Reid sat out of Sunday’s game against the Texans to witness the birth of his second daughter.

A pretty good reason to sit out, if you ask me. Reid will return to his starting role in Week 2.

Bethea has shown enough to earn a starting role in Week 2, but second-year safety Jaquiski Tartt is hot on his heels and, if he remains consistent in camp, will likely take over the starting spot from Bethea.
