The San Francisco 49ers have kicked off their training camp in 2016 under new head coach Chip Kelly, and the team already has a few risers and fallers a short way into this crucial session. Niner Noise breaks down the stock report thus far.

A few days’ worth of NFL training camp won’t reveal much, but the San Francisco 49ers already have a number of players standout out among the group.

Of course, there have to be fallers in the mix too.

Head coach Chip Kelly’s squad has a lot on the line this season. Kelly has taken over a team coming off a 5-11 finish a year ago, and a large number of positions are up for grabs.

This means competition, and competition brings out the best in most players.

Unfortunately, it can bring out the not-so best as well.

Yes, the early returns may be too little to determine which players end up making the cut this season and which guys on the team’s current 90-man roster wind up seeing action during the regular season.

But let’s have a go at it regardless and come up with an initial stock watch for San Francisco so far into training camp.

To do so, we’ll determine whether or not each player listed has his stock rising, falling or staying even.

And a lot of this may go a long way in determining the player’s future with the franchise.
