As for all of the undrafted free agents, we are going to keep them on a single slide. All of these players are going to fill the same type of role for 2016.

Unfortunately it is very hard to make the 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent, not that it is impossible by any means (there are plenty of great examples in the NFL today), but it is just unlikely.

These players get picked up after the draft to fill the team’s 90-man offseason roster, they are often selected to compete in training camp and to fill out the scout teams during practice.

A few will make the practice squad but, by the time the roster is cut down to 53, none of these players will be there. The one dark horse to look out for would be wide receiver Devon Cajuste. He has impressed his coaches and teammates in the offseason so far and has a big-bodied frame the 49ers are looking for, giving him an outside shot of making the roster in 2016.
