Wide Receiver/Tight End Devon Cajuste

2016 ESPN Fantasy Projection: N/A

Here’s a bit more of a reach for you. Rookie wide receiver, and undrafted free agent, Devon Cajuste probably shouldn’t command a fantasy draft pick, unless you have a thing for big-bodied Stanford receiving targets or guys named “Cajuste.”

Cajuste is more of a guy you look at on the waiver wire — perhaps as the season rolls on or when the Niners take on a team with a poor red-zone defense.

Here’s why. Cajuste is a 6-foot-4, 227-pound target with phenomenal hands (just look at the header photo) and someone head coach Chip Kelly could insert into red-zone packages as either a wideout or pass-catching tight end.

Just ask ESPN’s David Lombardi:

Again, you probably shouldn’t waste a draft pick on Cajuste. But keep an eye on whether or not he makes the Niners’ 53-man roster (he should) and how much Kelly experiments with him on the offensive side of the ball.
