Wide Receiver

All-Decade WRs: Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree

This one is fairly easy, and it’s hard to argue against the selections of Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree for San Francisco’s all-decade wide receivers.

Crabtree, the 49ers’ 10th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, may have had only one true stellar season with the Niners. That was in 2012 — a year in which he posted 85 receptions for 1,105 receiving yards and nine touchdown grabs, which still stand for career highs.

Regardless, Crabtree managed to stay at, or near, the 700-plus yard receiving threshold for most of his 49ers tenure, aside from an injury-plagued 2013 campaign.

Fortunately for San Francisco, the team traded for veteran wideout Anquan Boldin following the 2012 season.

Boldin led the 49ers in receiving for each of the three seasons he played with the Niners and, although he remains unsigned, it’s impossible to leave the physical wideout off this list.
