No. 4: 49ers quarterback Ken Dorsey — 2003-2005

Quarterback Ken Dorsey was drafted by the 49ers in the Round 7 of the 2003 NFL Draft.

Dorsey started in 10 games in his two seasons with the Niners, finishing with a 2-8 record. In 2005, he started the season as the third-string quarterback behind Tim Rattay and Alex Smith. While with San Francisco, Dosey threw for 1,712 yards, eight touchdowns and 11 interceptions. And during that time, Dorsey’s 54.1 completion percentage with the team ranks among the lowest in franchise history for a player with at least 10 starts for the team.

After showing the 49ers that he was not the answer, he was traded with a seventh-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for Trent Dilfer.

Dorsey’s efforts in Cleveland weren’t exactly better, as he finished his career there after posting a 46.7 completion percentage with the Browns.
